When I have been travelling, I am always amazed at how parents manage to travel with their kids and everything that goes along with them, like strollers, diaper bags, toys and much more… Now there is a company called WeeTravel that are a rental company that provide everything that you could possibly need when travelling, so that you don't have to take it all with you.
They are only in Vancouver, Toronto and Victoria (Canada) at the moment and they offer items such as car seats, strollers, high chairs and more! The items are available for rent by the day, week and some monthly plus they are all brand name products.
This company has done something that I haven't seen for a while…they have taken care of a niche market that helps tourists. They aren't another sightseeing company or hotel, but a service that every family could use if they have little ones.

The next time you plan on renting a car / SUV to go on a trip, ask the rental car company if they have any special one-way rates. These rates are normally a lot cheaper as the rental car company has to get the car back to its original depot.
These rates are especially good if you don't have any major plans of where you want to go or if you are a backpacker looking for a cheap ride.
A good site to check out if you are travelling to Australia is GetaboutOZ as this is all they do!

Then check out FurnishedRentals.com - It is a great site where owners advertise their fully furnished houses, apartments, condos, villas and more…there are properties from all over the world, good descriptions & photos of the accommodation and contact information, so that you can contact the owner directly to avoid any additional charges!
Personally I love staying in fully furnished places as they work out being a lot cheaper than staying in a hotel, plus there is more room and usually the bedroom is separate to the living area and you get a full kitchen instead of just a little kitchenette. Not to mention the fact that you will more than likely get a washing machine and dryer - a must have if you are staying anywhere longer than a couple of days.
Furnished rentals are also great for families as you can rent an entire house and it has everything that you would have in your own home…
Overall it is a great new trend that is really starting to take flight in the accommodation industry & I'm sure it will definately be a big thing in the future…check out the site and see all the different places available in the world!
